THE OPPORTUNITY:
Sephora Internships provide an inclusive and comprehensive experience that equips young professionals with the tools needed to align their passions with work. The 10-week internship program develops early career professionals by providing interns with hands-on learning, personal and professional networking opportunities, and the ability to work on projects that directly impact the business.
The Sephora internship program is also a prerequisite for consideration for LEAP, the cross-functional rotational program that provides on-the-job training in each of three Business Units - Supply Chain, Marketing, and Merchandising, over the course of nine months. Interns are invited to apply to LEAP at the beginning of the summer internship.
PROGRAM DETAILS:
An inclusive and engaging experience that develops technical and professional skills through weekly virtual workshops, networking opportunities, and career panels that provide exposure to Sephora’s career growth opportunities.
2025 PROGRAM DATES:
- June 2 - August 15, 2025
- Working hours: 36hrs/week. Monday – Friday, PST
- June 16 – 19: On-Site Week in San Francisco at headquarters office
- June 30 – July 4: Week off for vacation
POSITION TITLE: Environmental, Health & Safety Intern
YOUR ROLE AT SEPHORA...
As the Environmental, Health & Safety Intern, you will take ownership of the development and maintenance of procedural documentation, focusing on ergonomic procedures and/or heat stress and cold stress prevention and risk management. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement safety programs and initiatives. Support the creation of training materials and conduct EHS training sessions for employees. Participate in risk assessments and contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies. Stay informed about relevant EHS regulations and industry best practices.
WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH:
- Development and maintenance of procedure documentation.
- Partnering with key stakeholders in developing site EHS programs.
- Support creation of training materials and conduct EHS training.
- Participate in risk assessments.
- Contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of basic EHS principles and regulations is a plus.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Remote program – work schedule must align with Pacific Standard Time.
- Must permanently reside and work in the U.S.
- Must be open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area upon graduation for consideration for full-time hybrid positions.
- Available for the 1-week On-Site office experience in San Francisco, CA.
The target hourly pay for this position is $23.00 per hour. The actual hourly pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the individual applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
