Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Capable of working from drawings, sketches, templates, and schematics
- Connect electrical switches with various wires, electrical cables, and connectors
- Install and connect wiring for all lighting systems including strobe lights, boom lights, basket lighting, chassis lighting, trailer lighting, camera systems and any customer requested lighting systems
- Ability to trouble shoot and fix electrical issues
- Maintain work area in a clean, neat, and orderly manner
- Install unit vehicle components and accessories
- Basic computer usage
- Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures
- Comply with Terex quality standards through error prevention and by meeting such requirements with zero defects.
- Follow and promote The Terex Way Values
- Function as a team member and contribute to group goals while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Perform other job functions as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma and/or equivalent experience
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and 40-100 lbs. with assistance of others or lifting equipment provided
- Physical ability to work under, on, and around truck chassis and truck bodies
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of electrical experience
- Experience working with hydraulics/electrical/fabrication
- Capable of operating a variety of hand and power tools
- Possess ability to problem-solve
- Understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Read wiring schematics or the willingness to learn how.
- Work with small gauge, multi-colored wires and connecters.
- Previous work experience in fields such as mechanical/construction/carpentry
The salary range for this position is $20.75 to $22.25 per hour.
