The Regional Library Director is responsible for the administrative leadership of Statesboro Regional Public Libraries and providing public library services to all citizens.

The Director plans, organizes, staffs, directs, and administers the total library program in accordance with policies adopted by the Regional library board and in accordance with the Official Code of Georgia Annotated. The Director attends all library board meetings and cooperates with library boards and staff in setting service levels and in determining goals and objectives for the future development of the Region.

SRPL is a 5 county, 6 library system in eastern Georgia with 50+ employees and a projected FY2025 service population of 185,280. Our combined FY24 operating budgets (not including materials) is over $2.6M.
