Electrical Designer

AECOM's Florida offices are hiring an Electrical Designer to work on various new and renovation designs of high-performance buildings and sites within multiple sectors including governmental, federal, mission critical, justice, municipal, transportation, parks/recreation, commercial, industrial, retail, office, call/data center, laboratory, hospitality, entertainment, religious, auto dealership, warehouse/distribution, medical, educational (K-12 and higher education, dormitory), residential (single- and multi-family) projects.
This position is expected to begin in June 2022.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Serve as the electrical discipline representative on projects.
Complete electrical power and lighting designs for projects of all sizes.
Make design recommendations and design decisions with input from senior staff.
Coordinate design and schedule with other disciplines such as architectural, structural, mechanical, technology, clerical, and equipment suppliers.
Maintain accurate project documentation and design data for permanent project files.
Attend project meetings, or when appropriate, delegates activities.
Meet with clients and prepares technical presentations while maintaining good client relations.
Represents the organization and maintains liaison with individuals and related organizations.
