About the role

We are seeking a StaffLevel Engineer to lead the implementation of the offchain component of a novel hack prevention protocol for EVM chains. The software will be run near Web3 infrastructure and perform lowlatency EVM simulations ensuring that an EVM transaction is valid based on a set of rules with extreme time requirements in the tens of ms.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the architecture and implementation of the offchain component of Company Hack Prevention
  • Work with external L2 teams to integrate the company with their systems and APIs (e.g. sequencers.)
  • Ensure the implementation is performant and secure. Its what we call critical infrastructure
About you
  • Strong experience in software development with Rust and systems architecture
  • Experience in developing highperformance and lowlatency systems
  • Experience in performance optimizations in relation to databases and networking
  • Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
