Description

We are hiring a Quality Engineer to design innovative quality assurance systems and procedures and manage key projects within our Product Development and Launch team.
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Support Steelcase Quality objectives and serve as the customer advocate in the total Supply Chain from our supply base through product development and manufacturing, to our customers.
  • Support FMEA based risk mitigation activities.
  • Design, install and evaluate manufacturing quality assurance systems, procedures, and statistical techniques.
  • Project manage functional responsibilities with cross functional team and direct tactical Quality Assurance projects.
  • Design or specify inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment.
  • Analyze production and service processes and standards. Recommend revision of specifications when indicated.
  • Formulate or help formulate quality assurance policies and procedures.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ years professional experience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or an equivalent role
  • Bachelor‘s degree
  • Must be willing and able to travel 5-10% to various locations across North America

  • Project Management: Demonstrated project management skills with cross-functional teams with advanced facilitation skills and the ability to represent the company as a prime contact on technical projects.
