Job Summary

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to be based in Green Bay, WI.

This position is expected to begin in June 2023.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Builds analytic and design skills.

  • Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
  • Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
Minimum Requirements
  • BS Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Due to the nature of this work, US citizen or green card holder/permanent resident is required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Willingness to learn a variety of engineering disciplines, including CAD drafting, civil engineering (especially site design), structural engineering, and permitting.
  • Open to working at project job sites, including performing construction observation and supporting our surveyors.
  • Experience developing engineering deliverables such as engineering reports, design drawings, technical specifications, permits, and other detailed engineering deliverables.
  • Experience working on stormwater, water, wastewater, or flood protection/resilience projects.
  • Experience using MS Office Suite and AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Additional Details:

  • The Civil Engineering Team in the Green Bay Office of AECOM works on a wide variety of projects which require a multi-discipline approach. Entry-level candidates are expected to support our project work in a variety of ways, and should not expect to specialize in one area of engineering at the beginning of their career.
