Responsibilities





Sonepar Training for Emerging Professionals (STEP) Program at Crawford Electric Supply





The Sonepar Training for Emerging Professionals Program (STEP) is a (12-Month) dynamic, intensive rotational program designed to educate, train, and develop skills in emerging professionals and help establish your career. You will get hands on experience in every aspect of our business through on-the-job, e-learning, subject matter expert training, and residency trips. This rotational program includes exposure to site and corporate operations, sales strategies, processes, procurement, project management, E-Commerce, Sales & Marketing, and the Sonepar USA and our Operating Companies‘ business philosophy. At the conclusion of this dynamic program, you will have the opportunity to present to the Global Sonepar Executive Leadership team on key strategic organizational initiatives. Do you want to work for a Global Leader? Are you a driven self-starter? Is being a part of a company culture that values Performance, People, Customers and Sustainability important to you? Our program provides the ability to grow your career within our organization, participate in special assignments and gain business acumen through mentorship programs. This program will begin in June of 2024, but based on your graduation date, the option to come on board before then is there.





The core rotations of this program are:




  • Warehouse/Logistics
  • Industry/Corporate Knowledge
  • Inside Sales/Counter Sales
  • Projects & Quotations
  • Marketing/Digital Solutions/E-Commerce
  • Outside Sales/Specialty Track




In addition to your rotations, you will also experience:



* Team-Building activities with fellow STEP Participants

* All-expense paid travel to different company locations all over the country

* Enhanced understanding of our business through specialized training





Qualifications










  • A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or related degree preferred
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Possess an enthusiastic/self-starter attitude
  • Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible and adaptable team player

About Crawford



In 1990, Crawford Electric Supply opened its first store in Dallas, TX and began a tradition of excellence. Within five years of opening, the store was ranked #1 in the twin city market.
