We are searching for a dependable travel nurse to join our healthcare team. The travel nurse will be responsible for contracting at different Facilities in need.

Contracts typically run 4-to-8-weeks in length at our Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing Facilities with the possibility to extend beyond that.

*Travel LPN Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans.
  • Monitor and record patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
  • Assist with medical procedures such as suturing wounds and managing catheters.
  • Provide specialized care in areas such as ICU, family planning, and airway management.
  • Use medical equipment and technology effectively, including DME (Durable Medical Equipment) and medical imaging systems.
  • Utilize electronic health record systems such as Cerner to maintain accurate patient records.

Requirements:

  • Valid nursing license in Ohio.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Proven experience as a nurse in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD9 coding, and healthcare regulations.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fastpaced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
