Qualifications

AV-rated north bay firm Friedemann Goldberg Wargo Hess LLP seeks Associate Attorney to join our estate planning, business, and litigation practice. Successful candidate would possess the following:

License to practice law in California with no record of discipline 3-7 years’ of experience in Trusts and Estates Litigation or Civil Litigation in California Candidates with knowledge and experience in (or an interest and willingness to learn) one or more of the following will pique our interest:

- Trust and estate litigation

- Related business and real property issues

- Estate planning

Willingness to take on increasing responsibility, possess excellent writing and communication skills, as well as technical expertise Superior analytical, communication, drafting, writing, research skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Enthusiastic, collaborative, and thoughtful Ties to or an interest in living in Sonoma County are preferred

Benefits

Salary Range of $120,000 to $150,000, depending on years of experience Hybrid work environment Annual billable hours for Associates are targeted lower than large firms at 1,650 hours Performance based bonus; additional bonus based on collections directly sourced by associate Employer-sponsored medical, vision, life, and long term disability insurance Employer contribution to spouse/dependent medical and vision insurance 401(k) with employer matching Vacation and sick paid time off State (CA) and County bar dues paid by the firm Tuition reimbursement for MCLE required courses to meet California requirements Firm provided iPhone, iPad, and laptop
