Job Overview:

The Header Welder Combo A is responsible for fitting and welding fabricated and forged components to assemble header components using various welding processes. This role requires a skilled welder who can interpret blueprints and execute precise welding techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints to layout and assemble header components accurately.
  • Fit and weld parts using Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) processes.
  • Position align and tackweld components to secure parts for final welding.
  • Set up welding equipment based on material type and job specifications to ensure efficient operation.
  • Conduct inspections of welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure workflow efficiency and resolve any issues that arise during the welding process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to all safety regulations.

MustHave Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics for layout and assembly.
  • Demonstrated experience with SMAW GMAW and/or GTAW welding processes.
  • Ability to position align and fit components correctly for welding.
  • Experience in setting up welding equipment for different material types.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing highquality work.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
