1st shift: 6 am to 6 pm

The Hydro Blaster will perform/assist a wide range of physically strenuous activities that require the strength and flexibility to carry handle position move and manipulate materials and equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handson operation of manual and automated hydroblasting equipment
• Examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer expectations
• Performed routine maintenance on company equipment being used on the job
• Performs work using high pressure water blasting equipment to clean heavy industrial equipment (pipes boilers tanks heat exchangers bundles etc.)
• Assist in the inspection of equipment hoses connection pumps and general work area.
• Basic knowledge and ability to operate highpressured waterblaster.
• Ensures proper use of the equipment and immediately notify supervisor of any mechanical failure or problem of equipment.
• Wear and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE.) This includes but not limited to respirators skin face hand and foot protection in a multiple number of combinations.
• Ensures that tasks are performed safely with the highest level of quality.
• Effectively communicate with supervisors on areas such as safety quality and integrity.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to physically control industrial hydroblasting and vacuum equipment.
• Basic mechanical skill preferred.
• Understands and follow verbal and written instructions
• Health and Safety conscious
