The Registered Nurse First Assist will be joining  a nationally recognized and accredited facility that is in the top 100 facilities in its size, one of only 3 facilities in Oregon. This community hospital specializes in exceptional care for its staff and patients. 

The First Assist Registered Nurse will join a team of Surgeons, Surg Techs, and Registered Nurses to oversee care for their 3 Operating Rooms. This position will report up to their team of surgeons during patient care, as well as the Director of Perioperative Services. Other specialties of the Perioperative Department include a surgical robot, a minimally invasive surgical suite, and and ambulatory surgical center for short stay needs. 

The department the the Registered Nurse First Assist will be joining will serve a large portion of Northern Oregon, with an emphasis on  General Surgery, Orthopedics,Endoscopies, and Women's Health procedures. This role would be perfect for someone with a well rounded background in assisting in these types of procedures. This role includes assisting in all aspects of surgery, including assessing patient needs, planning care, and assisting the primary surgeon on technical needs during surgery. This role will act as a health care resource and role model to staff by maintaining a high degree of ethics and integrity.
