Summary
About the position: This position will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.
This position is a Flexible position. Hours for this position will be determined by the facility manager and can range from 0-40 hours per week depending on the needs of the facility.
Must be at least 16 years of age. Must possess lifeguard certification, first-aid and CPR training certification.

Duties
1. Continuously observe the pool to ensure safety.2. Ensures only authorized patrons are admitted to the area.
3. Rescues swimmers in trouble, promptly administers first-aid, and calls for medical assistance when needed.
4. Warns patrons of unsafe conditions.
5. Performs other duties as assigned to the operation of the swimming area
