Responsibilities:
- Provide barbering services to clients, including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims
- Offer mentoring and guidance to junior barbers or apprentices
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing tools and equipment
- Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and handling payments
Requirements:
- Valid barbering license in the state
- Proven experience as a barber, with a strong portfolio of previous work
- Knowledge of various hair cutting techniques and styles
- Familiarity with retail sales and basic retail math concepts
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to multitask and prioritize appointments in a fast-paced environment
Note: Additional skills in hair threading, nail care, eyelash extensions, and makeup application are a plus but not required for this position.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
