Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to be based in Chicago IL, Nashville TN, and Indianapolis IN.

This position is expected to begin in May 2023.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.

  • Performs entry-level work.

  • Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.

  • Meets required schedules while producing quality work.

Minimum Requirements
  • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous internship or experience on industrial or automotive company construction projects.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Valid Driver’s License to operate an AECOM provided motor vehicle on construction project site(s) to support project tasks assignments and scope of work. For positions with driving responsibilities, Motor Vehicle Records are reviewed as part of AECOM’s background check process to ensure compliance with the Company’s driving standards.

  • Sponsorship for US work authorization is not available for this position.

  • Relocation per diem is not available for this position.
