New Opportunity Junior Project Planner 

NES Fircroft is actively seeking candidates in the Lima Ohio region for a Junior Project Planner opportunity with the site.  This would be a long-term full-time contract opportunity with our client there, a large Oil/Gas Refinery, and the hiring manager is open to a variety of heavy industrial backgrounds for candidates with some experience in Project or Maintenance Planning/Scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Scheduling: Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring all tasks are planned in accordance with project timelines and resource availability.
  • Resource Coordination: Work with the project team to allocate resources effectively and ensure materials, labor, and equipment are available as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, and updates in project management software.
  • Communication: Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and stakeholders on project progress, potential delays, and resource needs.
  • Risk Management: Assist in identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity.
Qualifications:

  • Education: HS Diploma, further education or certifications preferred
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in project planning or coordination, preferably in the oil and gas industry or other heavy industry.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
