Accounts Payable/Grower Clerk





Seneca Foods in Cumberland, WI is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk/Grower Clerk individual to join our team. Responsible for the accurate preparation of accounts payable records and assisting the plant controller in all areas of accounting.





Responsibilities:




  • Accurate preparation of accounts payable records.
  • Assist the plant controller in all areas of accounting.
  • Assist Ag personnel with grower‘s payments, trucking and outside purchases.
  • Processing vouchers using SAP based system.
  • Maintain timekeeping on a Kronos based system.
  • Process plant payroll, as necessary.
  • Maintain records in a confidential and professional manner.
  • Must cover other administrative duties as needed.




Qualifications:




  • One to two years‘ experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with SAP and Kronos.
  • Must have good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently.



  • Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
  • High school diploma and/or degree in accounting.
  • Required to lift 50 pounds.
  • Valid Driver‘s license.
