Position Title

Renal/Neuro Registered Nurse (RN) at Olathe Health Pavilion

Position Summary / Career Interest:

  • The Renal/Neuro Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in coordinating patient care through the nursing process.
  • Providing safe and holistic care to patients and families across the care continuum.
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to integrate assessments and enhance practice settings.
  • Demonstrating leadership skills in decisionmaking and problemsolving.
  • Ensuring patient needs are met in a culturally sensitive manner while adhering to nursing standards and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhering to hospital medication safety policies and procedures.
  • Handling patient calls effectively and triaging care.
  • Ensuring patient and staff safety in a proactive manner.
  • Implementing and evaluating care plans based on patient condition.
  • Providing direct nursing care and education to patients and families.
  • Seeking continuous professional growth opportunities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School or GED required.
  • 2year/Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
  • Active RN licensure in accordance with the Kansas Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Healthcare Provider CPR certification required.
  • Additional unitspecific certifications/work experience may be necessary.
