Position: Paralegal

Pay Rate: $27.00 /hourly

Location: Stockton, CA

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join a legal team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and research skills, as well as the ability to work independently and under pressure. As a Paralegal, you will assist attorneys in all stages of legal proceedings and perform a variety of tasks to support our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and subpoenas Assist with case management and maintain case files, while also building and filing appropriate documents together Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings Organize and review documents for discovery and trial preparation

Qualifications:

Associate's or bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field (preferred) Previous experience as a Paralegal or in a legal support role Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documents Strong computer skills and proficiency in legal research databases Excellent verbal and written communication skills Has the ability to fill out and turn in court mandated forms Knows how to speak to clients and the clerks at court
