AVS Mountainland Animal Hospital is seeking a full or part-time Veterinary Receptionist - CSR Representative to join our team
At AVS Mountainland Animal Hospital, otherwise known as Mountainland, we have worked hard to be the very best. Our technicians and CSR team members work closely with veterinarians to ensure excellent patient care. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Individuals must be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do:
- Monitor and answer a multi-line phone system.
- Send out laboratory sample collection, process, and possibly interpret results (fecal/parasite analysis, ear cytology, skin cytology, urinalysis, blood smears)
- Monitor and filter incoming and outgoing mail.
- Schedule, maintain, confirm and adjust patient appointments.
- Record requests, new client paperwork, scanning, faxing, etc.
- Ability to effectively communicate and educate clients
- Use of computerized medical records and invoicing
- Checking in and out of patients/clients on a regular basis.
- Text and electronic communication with clients daily.
- Voicemail monitoring.
- Areas of small animal practice include wellness, comprehensive, and surgery appointments.
Qualifications:
- Reception experience in high-paced call volume minimum of 1 year.
- 1+ year experience in small animal practice preferred.
- Motivated to maintain our standards of excellent client services and high-quality patient care
- Team player with exceptional client service and communication skills, attention to detail with a positive and compassionate attitude
