AECOM - Greater Pennsylvania Area Transportation Water Resources Department is actively seeking a talented CAD Specialist for transportation projects with a focus on Water Resources disciplines.
Position located at the AECOM Conshohocken, PA Office. Seeking a motivated individual interested in joining a premier engineering company with potential to gain experience on a variety of challenging transportation projects that include work within the highway, bridge, mass transit, freight rail, and airport industries.

Position necessary to cover project needs and for water resources team development.

This position is expected to begin in December 2022.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Works under general supervision.

  • Performs both routine and non-routine, drafting assignments, scale and edit assignments involving the use of computer aided design and drafting equipment and other graphics software (e.g. CADD software) to achieve set results and deadlines.

  • Digitize or trace sketches or concepts from designers using CADD software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.

  • Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.

  • Follows established procedures and requires instructions only on new assignments.

  • Has worked with various plan sets containing multiple reference files that include cross-sections, details, plan sheets & profiles.

  • Ability to work from instructions or directions without the need of a markup.

  • Ability to follow CADD standards.

  • Strong knowledge of Microstation V8i.

  • AutoCAD knowledge.

  • Knowledge of any of the following programs would be useful but not required.

    • Axiom

    • InRoads

    • OpenRoads

    • ProjectWise

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with two (2) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education


Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge in Microstation V8i, AutoCAD, Axiom, Inroads, OpenRoads, ProjectWise
