Have the knowledge and ability to instruct students in educational areas to challenge and enrich student learning. High school diploma or equivalent or higher. Minimum of 19 years of age. Education, training and/or experience in one or more of the following areas: child development, teaching, counseling, social work, sociology, psychology, recreation, programming for youth. Create and instruct activities specific to the needs of students at the designated grade level(s) and in the designated content area(s)/subject(s). Previous successful work experience with young children. Possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication skills. Ability to identify and solve problems as a productive team member. Ability to use technology to communicate, to manage data, and to produce/submit required reports correspondence, and/or financial information. Physical strength, mobility, dexterity, stamina, and acuity to perform job responsibilities. Ability to be punctual and in attendance when scheduled. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may require.
