Job Overview

Our National Field Service Group is a project-based team that travels across the US completing large equipment assemblies, overhauls/outages, and relocations for a variety of mining equipment for our clients.

Projects will have varying durations with some lasting 3 - 4 months, and during this time the Field Service Group works long shifts and can be away from home for 3 - 4 weeks at a time. When not assigned to major projects, the individual will be required to support other regions as needed to complete assigned duties of the Field Service team.

The successful candidate of this role will be comfortable with the sporadic nature of this business and be able to adapt to changing environments and work processes.

Key Job Responsibilities

Welding repairs on Komatsu Mining equipment

Qualifications/Requirements

Equivalent to complete accredited apprenticeship in a recognized trade, craft or occupation; or equivalent to a 1 year technical college education, is a plus.

AWS certified welder FCAW 6GR

Over 3 years up to and including 5 years in similar job experience.

Use of advanced trade mathematics

Ability to interpret and understand complicated drawings, specifications, charts and tables

Ability to use all varieties of precision measuring instruments.

Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical job requirements.
