Job Summary

Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing a cursory review of Contractor submittals for completeness and compliance with the specification requirements while monitoring the Submittal and RFI review process.

  • Receiving, logging, and coordinate the processing of all project submittals, RFI’s and RFC’s with EOR's

  • Actively maintain As-Build design drawings with latest information resulting from submittal and RFI responses

  • Facilitate and assist in communications between Contractor, Owner, Project Design Engineer, and the Project Manager.

  • Respond to Contractor letters of correspondence providing interpretation of contract drawings and specifications to resolve problems or conflicts arising on site.

  • Participate in review and evaluation of contractor claims and change order proposals.

  • Issue all Engineering or Client initiated changes or clarifications of the contract documents to the Contractor and make high level assessment as to the rough order of magnitude and impact

  • Work collectively with the Quality Manager to track progress, quality of work, materials and equipment received and/or installed being incorporated into the work.

  • Monitor Contractor’s compliance with environmental requirements for control of storm water and air borne emissions / particulate matter and community relations throughout the course of construction.

  • Serve as oversight of final inspections, assistance and or preparation of punch list and final determination as to the completeness and acceptability of the Work.

Minimum Requirements
  • BA/BS + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Valid driver's license required
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10-15 years of related experience preferred with 8+ years of Municipal Water / Wastewater Construction Project experience

  • Experience with the installation and startup of large wastewater pumps and associated electrical and controls equipment and systems

  • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external contacts

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Efficient with Microsoft Office

  • CA- PE License
