Industrial Cleaner

The Industrial Cleaner is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of docks and industrial spaces. This role requires a high level of attention to detail the ability to work in demanding environments and a commitment to safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize industrial areas including docks warehouses and manufacturing floors.
• Sweep mop and scrub floors using industrial cleaning equipment.
• Remove debris trash and hazardous materials from work areas.
• Clean and maintain restrooms break rooms and common areas within industrial facilities.
• Operate and maintain cleaning machinery and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Assist with spill cleanup and emergency response as needed.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform other cleaning duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in industrial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred.
• Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Job Type: Fulltime

Pay: £13.70 per hour
