Job Description:

Perform Recruitment Agency is seeking a skilled and dedicated Bakery Manager to join our client a prominent retail company based in Limerick. This is a fulltime permanent position with a competitive salary of 16 euros per hour. If you have a passion for baking strong leadership skills and a commitment to quality we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and manage the bakery team ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
  • Baking Oversight: Oversee the preparation and baking of a variety of bread and pastries ensuring consistency and high standards.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure all baked goods meet the companys high standards for taste texture and appearance.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient stock levels ensure timely ordering and manage proper storage of all baking supplies.
  • Sanitation: Ensure the bakery maintains a clean and organized work environment adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and feedback with professionalism ensuring excellent service and satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment working closely with bakers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of products.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for bakery staff to enhance their skills and performance.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a bakery management role or similar position within the baking industry.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in baking techniques including mixing kneading and shaping dough. Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy bags of flour and other baking ingredients.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and precision in all aspects of baking and management.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work morning shifts and weekends as required.
