POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Ogeechee Technical College is seeking a Part-Time Adult Education-Bulloch that will provides evening instruction in academic areas (reading, writing, English, and mathematics) for all assigned students. (This position will be located in Bulloch County 2:00p – 7:00p.). Major duties include: 

provides instruction in academic areas (reading, writing, English, and mathematics) for all assigned students A main purpose of the position is to work with students immediately following orientation to ensure a more focused transition into classes and assist with increasing enrollment and retention The instructor will prepare and maintain all required documentation and administrative reports The instructor will plan, organize, and participate in staff development and team conferences, maintain a secure classroom environment and assist with recruitment and retention efforts

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

·A Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working with adult learners Previous instructional experience to include teacher preparation, instruction, instructional methodologies, evaluation and assessment Previous classroom management experience

Salary/Benefits
