Job Title/High-Level Position Summary: The Consignment Inventory Associate supports, communicates, and implements all initiatives for the Consignment Inventory Program and Direct Purchase customers. Manages consignment inventory by processing orders, addressing inactive stock, and resolving variances. They support the Sales Team and field staff with customer inquiries, product changes, and account performance. Collaborating with Purchasing Agents, they facilitate product launches and swaps while ensuring compliance through audits and reporting. A key component of this role is collaborating well with field staff, warehouse teams, finance, and other team members to achieve shared goals and maintain efficient consignment operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and processes orders (e.g., warehouse transfer orders, PAR changes, new product requests, facility orders).

  • Reviews and analyzes service levels and product mix.

  • Supports all activity related to consignment location: physical inventory audits (e.g., generate shrinkage invoices, manage credits, investigate discrepancies), remove products that are not being utilized.

  • Utilizes Inventory Transaction Report to support Sales Team in identifying and reconciling any potential variances prior to the physical audit.

  • Manages audit scheduling for consignment physical inventory, site visits and bill-back processing for designated territory.

  • Responsible for UMASS direct billing.

  • Manages Open Order Report to resolve any unselected orders.

  • Supports everyone‘s efforts to succeed. Interacts productively with internal and external partners. Balances team and individual responsibilities. Works collaboratively and cooperatively with many teams cross-functionally. Energetic and willing to work closely with all team members to achieve success.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with inventory and/or customer service required.

  • Familiarity with inventory and customer service-related practices required.

  • Knowledge of inventory software and order processing systems strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and orthotic products strongly preferred.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Associate‘s degree preferred.

  • Must possess a valid Driver‘s License and current automobile insurance.

  • Must satisfy third-party credentialing requirements in order to gain access to hospital accounts.

Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.

  • Typical work-related travel assignments range 1-3 days, and as such overnight, out-of-town stays are required.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Partners with the Compliance Department when opening new consignment locations.

  • Treats Protected Health Information (PHI) with the strictest confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by staying current on all payor and Medicare requirements and guidelines, policies and procedures, and current home care products and services offered by both Enovis and Surgi-Care.
