Reports To: Supply Chain & Procurement Manager
A. Purpose and Scope of Position
Warehouse:
This position is a front-line position in the warehouse/distribution center facilities. The position will carry out a wide array of tasks relative to the process of receiving, storing, organizing, and shipping goods. A qualified candidate will be able to inspect goods upon arrival to determine level of acceptance, record those goods to inventory and begin the process of stocking or re-packaging for supply to other locations. The Warehouse Technician will be trained and licensed to operate a forklift and/or other type of pallet handling machinery and will assist with other facility related projects both on and off site when requested. The successful applicant shall ensure that all work is performed in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner. Both technical and customer service skills will also be required to excel at this dynamic multifaceted position.
Facilities/Grounds: To assist Facilities in the day-to-day upkeep for the property and the exterior building and grounds maintenance.
B. Organizational Relationship
This position reports to the Supply Chain & Procurement Manager and on certain projects, the Facility Manager.
C. Duties and Responsibilities
Warehouse:
- Assist with shipping, receiving, ordering, inventory, and supply chain functions
- Loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts, and general warehouse maintenance
- Follow and implement all necessary safety protocols and regulations
- Perform certain cleaning tasks and disinfection of equipment
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling
- Train on and operate to, the warehouse inventory management tools and systems
- Monitor supplies and report on low stock as necessary
- Greet and offer assistance to staff when needed
- Treat people fairly, consistently and with respect
- Participate in required training and meetings
- Keep work area orderly and clean
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Assist other members of the Corporate Services team
- Must follow all safety/OSHA Requirements
Grounds:
- Perform general grounds clean-up, including picking up paper and trash around grounds; cleaning and pressure washing all areas of the property
- Snow blow walkways and shovel snow when necessary
- Spread salt or sand on public passageways to prevent ice buildup when necessary

D. Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications (i.e., education, certifications, etc.)
- High School diploma or equivalent, 2-year technical accreditation preferred
- 1 year of experience in warehouse or inventory preferred.
- Valid driver‘s license and clean driving record.
- Requires knowledge of warehouse functions, safety standards; and planning and organization.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Experience
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.

F. Physical Requirements
- The physical demands described here commonly used and must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Other requirements could apply.
- While performing the duties of this job, this candidate is regularly required to talk or hear, and must be able to lift up to 75+ lbs., bend, climb, stand for duration of shift, etc.
- Ability to successfully pass a DOT Physical
- Requires the ability to operate power tools, equipment, and maintenance vehicles.
- Also includes sitting, standing and bending, repetitive motions of hands and wrists .
