An opportunity exists for an experienced and highly motivated store person to join the Food Services Team at Sunshine Hospital.

The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate their ability to work independently as well as working closely within a team, have proven focus on ensuring that the day to day management of the kitchen, freezer, ration store and ancillary storeroom are maintained in a safe, clean and efficient way. You will possess strong interpersonal and decision making skills, and be driven by the provision of high standard to cleanliness and hygiene in all Food Service areas of the production kitchen. You will undertake stocktakes and liaise with Suppliers to organise goods before Public Holidays, as well as ordering of food and non-food items via our online ordering systems. You will be making deliveries to the Sunshine Mental Health and Wellness Centre.

Shifts include weekdays and weekends.

To be Successful in this role you need to:

Hold a current Food Hygiene Certificate (Health & Community Services Food Handlers Certificate). Have experience in stores and warehousing. Have sound computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Be able to work in a team whilst being self- directed. Possess effective communication skills with a broad range of stakeholders. Have demonstrated working knowledge of the application of Food Safety Plans.
