As a social movement, we collaborate with community-based organizations, individual activists, and groups dedicated to creating a safer environment for women.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Computer Teacher at EMPOWER PEOPLE in Una. The Computer Teacher will be responsible for teaching computer science and programming to students, developing curriculum, and fostering effective communication in the classroom. The role requires expertise in teaching computer-related subjects and ensuring a supportive learning environment for students.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Responsibilities:

- Design and deliver comprehensive training sessions on Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with a focus on practical applications for clerical tasks.

- Provide advanced Excel training covering functions, formulas, data analysis, and reporting techniques tailored to clerical roles.

- Instruct on the usage of Tally software for accounting and financial management tasks.

- Teach other relevant computer skills essential for clerical positions, adapting curriculum to meet industry demands.

- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.

- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum design and training methodologies.

Requirements:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

- Expertise in Advanced Excel functions, data analysis, and reporting techniques.

- Experience with Tally software or similar accounting software preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Previous teaching or training experience is an advantage.

- Passion for empowering individuals, particularly rural girls, to develop essential computer skills for clerical roles.
