AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Civil Engineer to be based in Clifton, NJ.

This position is expected to begin in October 2022.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Building analytic and design skills

  • Conducting engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer

  • Creating designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer

  • Collecting and analyzing data under the supervision of an experienced engineer

  • Using computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems

  • Performing work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Capable of using a spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software

  • Basic knowledge of industry-standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as CADD, HCS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models)

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE)
