Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

Are you a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a knack for maintaining and optimizing facilities? We're looking for a Facilities Maintenance and Operations Specialist to ensure our facilities, building services, and production equipment operate flawlessly. In this role, you'll combine hands-on maintenance with strategic planning to keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on facilities, building services, and production equipment to ensure everything is running optimally.
  • Preventive Care: Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and minimize disruptions.
  • Minimize Downtime: Schedule and perform maintenance tasks to reduce production interruptions and keep operations seamless.
  • Training & Development: Train employees and contractors on equipment operation to ensure safe and effective use.
  • Cost Management: Develop and implement cost-saving strategies for facilities management while preparing cost estimates and project proposals.
  • Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage contracts for facilities maintenance and modifications, ensuring favorable terms and effective service delivery.
  • Project Oversight: Direct contractors and team members to complete projects efficiently, acting as the primary emergency responder for facility issues.
  • Communication: Provide regular updates on project statuses through detailed reports and informal communication.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records to ensure compliance and track performance.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 5+ years in facilities maintenance and operations, with a strong background in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic hand tools and experience in negotiating and establishing maintenance contracts.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, climbing, and working in diverse weather conditions.
  • Emergency Readiness: Be the go-to person for emergency facility issues and respond promptly as needed.
  • Educational Background: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • HVAC Expertise: Experience with HVAC systems maintenance is a plus.
