**About the Role:**

The Inventory Auditor ensures the accuracy and completeness of physical inventory counts during the physical inventory count for both Corporate-owned and Independent Operated store inventories. This position works closely with store operators, Grocery Outlet field leadership, and 3rd party inventory processing companies to ensure compliance with Grocery Outlets inventory and operational policies. Due to the nature of this position, the Inventory Auditor must regularly travel to assigned store locations and attend overnight inventories.

**Responsibilities Include:**

* Attend and audit counts during physical inventories for Corporate and Operator store inventories.

* Perform price checks at selected stores.

* Perform date-code audits at selected stores.

* Perform asset cycle count at selected stores.

* Perform internal audit store review and follow up on stores review at selected stores.

* Perform special project and audits as directed by the Sr. Director of Internal Audit.

**About You:**

* Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.

* 3 years of retail physical inventory count experience

* Prior retail store management experience is a plus

* Experience at using an inventory calculator

* Experienced user of Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel)

* Willing and able to travel 70-80% to stores and corporate office
