Optician

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Optician to join our team at Wildwood Vision Specialists. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers in selecting the perfect eyewear that suits their needs and ensuring optimal vision correction. You will work with a diverse range of clients, providing exceptional customer service and utilizing your expertise in optics to recommend the most appropriate products.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the doctors to provide seamless care from the examination room to the optical area and check out.
• Knowledge to select lenses to meet patients visual requirements.
• Provide patients with accurate pricing for frames and lenses.
• Interpret insurance benefits for patients in a clear and concise way.
• Match frames to patients style preferences.
• Fit patients with frames that fit well and feel comfortable.
• Fit patients with multiple pairs of glasses or sunglasses when needed.
• Price and order contact lenses for patients.
• Check in glasses and contact lens orders when they arrive from the lab, checking for quality and accuracy.
• Clean up work area to ensure a clean and organized work station and lab.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
