DEPARTMENT: TELA



JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for keeping and maintaining TELA buildings in a clean and orderly manner following the Head Start Performance Standards. Assist with building preparation for TELA events and maintenance during events and assist with building and equipment rentals. This Custodial Maintenance position will work at the TELA and will have access to the classroom and children and at the school.



COMPENSATION: $17.09 hr.



MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION



High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred

MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE



Experience working independently preferred
Experience working with cleaning chemicals and/or solvents preferred

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES



Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray prior to hire.
Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification. Will allow sixty (60) days to obtain
Bloodborne Pathogens Certification. Will allow sixty (60) days to obtain
OSHA 10 Certification. Will allow sixty (60) days to obtain
Must abide by departments MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella) vaccination policy.
Must pass an Agility exam to determine if physically capable of performing job duties.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment and MERIT background check.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a regular Full-Time position
