SCHEDULE: 8-10 hour shifts day shift hours includes weekend shifts.
The Medical Social Worker provides professional psychosocial assessments, counseling and discharge planning for Acute Care and the Emergency Department. The Social Worker serves as a staff and community resource and participates as a member of the healthcare team. The Medical Social Worker provides crisis intervention counseling, patient and family resource information and psychosocial support.

Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work / Arts. Or
- Bachelor's Degree in Social work or related behavioral science.
- 2 years of Social service experience (with BA), OR
- 1 year of Social service experience (with MSW/MA).

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
