Job Description:Mazars is seeking high-performing graduates to join the Tax team in our Edison, New Jersey office. As a Tax Associate, in this practice you will be responsible for providing the highest levels of client service excellence while working with other audit professionals and interacting with valued clients.We may work with numbers, but accounting, tax and advisory is all about people. We take pride in what we do and are committed to playing our part in building the economic foundations of a fair and prosperous world.Start Date: July 2024Required Skills and Experience :Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting or TaxStrong academic credentials (Minimum GPA of 3.0)Eligible to sit for the CPA exam; Undergraduate or graduate degree/150 credit hour requirementAuthorization to work without sponsorshipExperience working in a professional environmentActive involvement in organizations (volunteering or campus related)Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skillsMotivated and hard working in order to meet client deadlines and provide excellent service to clientsMotivated to work as part of a team and build constructive working relationshipsAble to operate in a paperless workplace and proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)Proficiency in CCH ProSystem Fx Engagement and CCH Axcess Tax is a plus but not essentialProfessional Responsibilities :Tax Associates will have the opportunity to work on tax engagements within a variety of different industry nichesGain a thorough understanding of Mazars USA tax approach, methodology and toolsPrepare individual, partnership and corporate tax returnsPrepare and calculate year-end projections and prepare extensionsCalculate quarterly estimated tax payments for individuals and corporationsPerform tax research using CCH, RIA & BNAEngage in internal tax practice initiatives and trainingWe Offer :Intensive training through in-house training programs, as well as on-the-job-trainingA varied profession with a variety of market segments (industries) and significant career opportunitiesA diverse, dynamic and exciting work environmentCompetitive compensation plan and benefits package, including comprehensive medical and dental plans, paid days off (PDO), 401(k) planA competitive CPA Exam support program
