We are thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity to join our esteemed culinary team at the renowned Fairmont Olympic Hotel as a Cook II. This is a fulltime position mainly working dinner service in the staff cafeteria. As a Cook II you will have the chance to learn and expand on your culinary skills while creating exceptional meals for the Olympic staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of cafeteriastyle meals.
- Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistent quality and taste.
- Handle food ingredients and kitchen equipment with care and precision.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet service and production goals.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Assist with receiving and storing food supplies.
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Able to work in a highpressure environment.
- Valid Food Handler Certificate required (can be acquired upon hire.)
- Previous experience in the culinary field preferred.
- Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA.
- Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements Include:
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs
- Frequent kneeling pushing pulling lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps
