GRHS is seeking candidates for the position of Social Worker, Non-Licensed 2. This position will work on day shift (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
FOR THIS TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT, STATE LAW REQUIRES A NATIONAL AND STATE BACKGROUND CHECK AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT.
Job Description
This position serves as the primary discharge planner for individuals who have been hospitalized for an extended period. This role will also require the ability to link individuals to appreciate services and resources in the community, complete assessments and referrals, and work collaboratively from a multi-disciplinary recovery perspective.
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the State qualifications, preference will be give to candidates who possess some or all of the following:
Must have a Master's in Social Work (MSW), License-eligible Experience working with persons with Mental Illness and/or Developmental Disability Self-starter and able to work independently or with minimum supervision Effective written and oral communication skills Willingness to interact with others on an interdisciplinary treatment team Experience and knowledge of discharge planning, interaction with legal systems, and the ability to interact with a multi-disciplinary team Ability to utilize clinical skills Ability to effectively complete documentation in a timely mannerBenefits
