You would join a team who's been proudly serving our community for over 50 years across our 3 hospitals. We offer our small animal patients a comprehensive pharmacy, Idexx laboratory, digital radiography, cold laser therapy, orthopedics, and ultrasound all in-house. For our large animal clients, we offer dairy herd production medicine, computerized herd health services, emergency coverage, as well as bovine and equine reproductive services with ultrasound.

We are in a great area close to state parks and hiking trails, and less than 2 hours from Philly and DC.

The Lead Veterinarian serves as the clinical leader of the hospital and is responsible for the ongoing evaluation and management of clinical practices as well as the delivery of patient care. The Lead doctor works in partnership with the Practice Manager to ensure a high standard of medical case management and to provide an excellent experience for our clients and their pets.

We have clinics in three locations: Shippensburg, Allen Road, and Mount Rock. We have seven doctors on staff, which which provides our patients with access to a wide breadth of medical expertise. Our multiple location practice ensures that our patients and clients are able to get medical care when and where it is needed.

We provide services in veterinary orthopedics, including bone pinning and plating. In fact, many other animal hospitals in our region refer their advanced orthopedic cases to Shippensburg Animal Hospital. We also utilize cold laser therapy to treat pets suffering from arthritis and other painful conditions. We also offer both digital x-ray and ultrasound as diagnostic options for our patients.
