Job Details
Location: Charlotte, NC. Hybrid work schedule (3 WFH-2 in office)
Hours: M-F-40 Hours per week
Pay Range: $30-$35/hr. depending on experience and skillset.
Duration: Contract to hire.  
 
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the monthly inventory reconciliation process to ensure compliance with company standards. Reconcile 3rd Party warehouse inventory stock report with company stock report. Lead investigation of inventory discrepancies.
  • Perform monthly inventory closing in SAP, including report out, follow up on corrective actions, and the execution of inventory adjustments and approved write-on/offs in SAP.
  • Oversee and control cycle counts performed by warehouse 3PL’s. Compare and validate 3PL cycle count results with SAP stock and movements, investigate discrepancies, and make stock adjustments, if necessary, in accordance with company policy.
  • Perform year-end inventory closing with report out of inventory levels and accuracy.
  • Maintain healthy inventory through blocking and unblocking inventory activities in SAP. Investigate material issue and take correct action to resolve.
  • Identify and resolve SAP discrepancies and issues as it relates to area of responsibility.
  • Operational support – resolution of SAP system and open order management issues, including providing transaction execution support in SAP
  • KPI implementation and tracking for applicable warehouses.
 
Job Qualifications
  • Must have at least 3 years experience working with inventory or supply chain management.
  • Must be well versed with balancing budgets, inventory counts, and domestic shipping/receiving functions.
  • Must have previous experience working with SAP.
  • Previous experience shipping hazardous chemicals would be a big plus.
  • Previous experience working in a chemical sector would be a big plus.
  • Candidates local to the Charlotte, NC area are strongly preferred.
