The Stakeholders

  1. Small Business Owners - Today, our customer base is made up of hard-working business owners who are looking to get additional help navigating the complexity of taxes as they continue to scale their businesses.
  2. High Net Worth Individuals - We also help our clients who may not necessarily own a business but want to find ways to grow their wealth and understand how to properly navigate their taxes.
  3. Our Team Members - We have 7 full-time team members who provide helpful insight to our clients.


Role Overview

Wiseman Accounting Services, P.C. is looking for an experienced Tax Advisory Staff - Senior to join our fast-growing professional services remote team

Our firm services small business owners and high net worth individuals across multiple advisory offering including Tax Planning, Tax Implementation, and Chief Financial Officer services. Unlike most firms focused on compliance, Wiseman Accounting Services, P.C. helps our clients proactively implement strategies that save them money on taxes and help build a stronger financial future.

What You’ll Do

●    Train and become a tax planning advisor helping walk clients through different strategies that may help them make smarter tax and financial decisions.

●    Prepare tax returns for small business clients and high net worth individuals.

●    Prepare and present tax planning kickoff calls, implementation calls and quarterly calls engaging the clients with their tax questions throughout the year.

●    Record tax entries within client’s accounting system and spot potential tax errors.

●    Keep up to date with latest tax legislation changes and IRS pronouncements as they become available.

●    Spend time researching strategies that may apply to clients to help keep up to date with the evolving tax industry.

 

What You Need to Get the Job Done

●    4+ years of working in public accounting on taxes for individuals and small businesses

●    Must be a licensed tax preparer - CPA or EA

●    Must have experience in a tax Reviewer role

●    Strong problem solving and interpersonal communication skills

●    Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and deliver results in a fast paced and dynamic environment with the desire for continuous improvement

●    Advanced Excel skills

●    Willingness and ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly

●    Maintain ego-free environment to help focus on solving the problem and developing solutions that will work for the long term

●    Ability to work on multiple projects at once, while meeting or exceeding tight deadlines
