AECOM is seeking a Construction Intern to be based in Indianapolis, IN.

This position is expected to begin in January 2023.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out tasks.

  • Performs entry-level work.

  • Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.

  • Meets required schedules while producing quality work.

Minimum Requirements
  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited 4 year college or university, and seeking a Bachelor's degree majoring in Construction Management, Building Technology, Civil Engineering or similar major

  • Must have completed three years of studies

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to follow direction and manage specific tasks to completion

  • Ability to learn new technologies and concepts

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities

  • Willing to work a variety of tasks alone or as part of a team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Valid Driver’s License to operate an AECOM provided motor vehicle on construction project site(s) to support project tasks assignments and scope of work. For positions with driving responsibilities, Motor Vehicle Records are reviewed as part of AECOM’s background check process to ensure compliance with the Company’s driving standards
