The Opportunity

We require a Risk & Audit Officer to join our Corporate Affairs team. The Risk and Audit Officer will provide support in the development, maintenance and implementation of the Risk Management, Legal and Compliance Management and Corporate Governance Frameworks to ensure the effectiveness of related policies and procedures, provides support to establish and embed effective governance practices at AWH. As part of the Corporate Affairs Directorate , the role will contribute to oversight and reporting of Enteprise Risk, Assurance and Compliance activities across the organisation.

Qualifcations and experience:

1. Desirable tertiary qualifications in Business Administration and/ or Certificate Level Trainor and Assesor; Quality Management.

2. Desirable, Public Sector experience governance, risk management, audit, legal compliance and/or assurance.

3. Sound knowledge and understanding of the organisational benefits of a robust Risk Management Framework to create value for an organisation.

4. Sound knowledge and understanding of the organisational benefits of of Legal Compliance Management processes to support the operations of the health service.

5. Ability to work independently using own initiative and as part of a team.
