We are currently seeking a highly motivated Full Time Associate Veterinarian to join the Animal Hospital of Putnam team
The Associate Veterinarian is responsible for medical, surgical and dental procedures performed in the hospital, along with maintaining complete and accurate medical records of our patients. This candidate will be helping to define the standards of the practice by leading by example and creating a positive work environment for the entire clinic. The Associate Veterinarian will work closely and supervise the veterinary technicians. Policies and strategies will need to be established and implement with the help of the management and the practice owners at the hospital to improve the financial and productivity goals of the hospital.
The Associate Veterinarian is an integral member of the healthcare team. It is important that this candidate can communicate compassionately and effectively with clients so that all treatment options are presented to work with the clients on making informed decisions about the care for their pet. This position will require working closely with the Client Care Team to improve on client communication and satisfaction. A consistent quality of medical care to our patients is our top priority
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
· DVM or VMD degree
· A current Connecticut state license
· New graduates encouraged to apply
