Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to be based in Miami, FL.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience with management of the construction of facilities, new construction, renovation, including parks facilities, civil engineering works, multi-function buildings and park site development and redevelopment.

This position is expected to begin in July 2022.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews contractor bids, project proposals to determine project time frame, funding, required to complete each project, including budget, schedule and staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources for various phases of each of the projects

  • Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifying schedules or plans as required, including programmatic assessment of cash flows

  • Visits and inspects project sites during different phases ensuring compliance with building plans and codes

  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems

  • Provides direction and administration of design and construction projects through designers, engineers and contractors

  • Plans, assigns and reviews the work of a professional staff to ensure success in the monitoring of the work of architectural and engineering consultants and contractors engaged in the design and construction of a variety of park facilities and related projects

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Public Administration, or related field from an accredited U.S. institution with ten (10) years project management and construction management experience related to specific areas of assignment

  • Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Public Administration, or related field from an accredited U.S. institution with fifteen (15) years of project management and construction management experience related to specific areas of assignment

  • Emphasis on knowledge of capital improvement programs, parks programs, including new construction and renovations

  • Design and construction review experience on multiple projects

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
