Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Construction Surveyor to join our team. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding construction projects and ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Construction Surveyor to join our team. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding construction projects and ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct precise measurements and use equipment such as GPS and laser levels to accurately establish reference points, grades, and elevations on construction sites.
  • Interpret engineering drawings to determine the layout and dimensions of structures and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to provide surveying support throughout all phases of construction.
  • Verify the accuracy of survey data, including calculations and field notes, and maintain comprehensive records of survey information.
  • Monitor construction work to ensure alignment with established survey marks and benchmarks.
  • Identify potential issues or deviations from design plans and work with the project team to implement corrective actions.
  • Provide guidance and support to construction crews regarding survey-related matters.
Education
  • Proven experience as a Construction Surveyor or similar role in the construction industry.
Skills
  • Proficiency in using surveying instruments
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to perform complex calculations.
  • Proven understanding of construction procedures, materials, and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and social skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
  • Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by Company safety guidelines
  • Regularly required to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance, use hands to move and manipulate objects, and communicate (talk and hear)
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Standing/working on feet for long periods, and walking across uneven terrain
  • Frequent exposure to loud noise, all outdoor weather conditions, dust, fuel, oil, other chemicals, and airborne particles
  • Regularly exposed to fuel, oil, and other chemicals
  • Abides by company safety and drug/alcohol testing requirements
