Job Title: Principal Enterprise Architect
As a Principal Enterprise Architect at Discover, you will play a crucial role in ensuring architecture alignment with both business and technology objectives across various product areas and business units.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to define business and BT goals
- Lead architecture teams supporting complex business areas
- Develop future state target architectures and roadmaps
- Design overarching enterprise architecture frameworks, guardrails, and principles
- Architect enterprise-scale data center solutions
- Lead data center migrations, consolidations, and upgrades
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors in Computer Science or related field
- 8+ Years of experience in Software Development, Engineering, or Technical Architecture
- Technical proficiency rating of proficient on the Dreyfus architecture scale (Internal applicants only)
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Data Center Enterprise Architect in a large-scale enterprise environment
- In-depth knowledge of data center technologies
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools
